Community Partnership Heralded in Seattle

Seattle Public Schools Board recognized College Success Foundation as a premier community partner. Larry Nyland, Ph.D. school board superintendent praised CSF for their support of over 1,000 students in Seattle Public Schools and significantly strengthening the college-going culture.

Keith Stier-Van Essen, CSF-Seattle program director thanked Seattle Public Schools for celebrating College Success Foundation’s key role in helping to achieve the mission of Seattle Public Schools of preparing students for college, career and life.

Gustavo, CSF Scholar at Garfield High School thanked CSF for all the tools and supports enabling him to achieve his dreams.  “This incredible staff…has supported me throughout. [They] have always been a great resource and…given me the tools…to support my dreams ” Gustavo said.

CSF-Seattle has collaborated with Seattle Public Schools for 17 years, providing supports to students at Cleveland, Garfield and Rainier Beach High Schools and Mercer and Washington Middle Schools.

CSF also supports thousands of students annually throughout Washington state including Auburn, Bremerton, Highline, Kent, Port Angeles, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima and in the District of Columbia.
